MCAH AmeriCorps Programs

Such a great day with mid-Michigan AmeriCorps members at Fenner Nature Center! For this year's Russ Mawby Signature Service Project, members are helping to cut down cottonwood trees, remove invasive plants from along the trails and around the grounds, and filing documents and organizing around the facilities.

As part of AmeriCorps Week, we're celebrating Make a Difference Monday! Our AmeriCorps members always Get Things Done. We're so proud of all they accomplish for their host sites, their communities, and for their own growth and professional development.

On top of some incredible data, our members provide value in so many immeasurable, intangible ways.

It's AmeriCorps Week! This week is an opportunity to recognize appreciate the millions of Americans who have committed to service and helping their communities.

A special THANK YOU to all of MCAH's AmeriCorps' incredible members, alums, site supervisors, and host site organizations.

MCAH's AmeriCorps Programs are looking for Michigan non-profits that provide services to those experiencing or at-risk of homelessness. Through partnership, organizations host an AmeriCorps member for a one-year term.

Between both programs, members provide direct services to individuals related to housing, outreach, and employment and provide capacity-building services including but not limited to: community assessments, leveraging financial resources, program development, community awareness, and volunteer systems.
