Today’s the day. After quite the long goodbye, we’re officially sending Joan Gustafson, MNA’s External Affairs Officer, into retirement. Today (June 26) is her last day with us.

We’ve had the chance to celebrate her well. From a retirement party and lunch earlier this month to a staff gathering last week filled with gifts and appreciation, to celebrations at Nonprofit Day at the Capitol and other MNA outings, and even her fathead making several appearances over the past few months.

Joan has been a true force for Michigan nonprofits and leaves behind an incredible legacy. Her impact will be felt for years to come. Happy retirement, Joan! We’re so grateful for you and wishing you all the best in this next chapter.

. 🐾Max here, Chief Snack Specialist… and I’ve got priorities.
I don’t do anything without proper compensation and right now, I’m working overtime trying to get you to complete MNA's compensation and benefits survey. 🍖
The deadline is this week (June 12) and we need your input to help nonprofits make smart, fair decisions about pay and benefits.
If you already started, go back and finish it. (please) (I said please!)

If you haven’t… consider this your official (and very hungry) reminder.

Take a few minutes and complete the survey now… and maybe I’ll finally get that snack. I love cheese! 🧀
