FREE PET VACCINE CLINIC
We're teaming up with Petco Love to offer FREE pet vaccines to help protect your furry family members!

Location: CAHS Spay & Neuter Clinic, 5919 South Cedar Street, Lansing, MI 48911
Dates: Tuesday, April 28, 2026
Time: 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Vaccines offered at no cost:
• DAPPv (for dogs)
• HCP (for cats)
• Rabies (for both)

This is a first-come, first-served event. Pre-registration is required to guarantee vaccine availability, but it does NOT reserve a specific time slot. Expect a line and some wait time regardless of the time you select during registration.

*Dogs must be on a leash.
*Cats must be in a carrier.

The Soldan Dog Park is currently OPEN in its entirety. Hawk Island Staff has been testing the Soldan Dog Park pond weekly for the presence of harmful Blue/Green algae. A test on 8/3/24 indicated a negative result for the toxin. A second test on 8/4/24 verified this first result. Staff will continue to monitor and test the pond on a weekly basis, or more frequent if a visual presence of the algae appears. We appreciate you understanding as the safety of your canine companions is of upmost importance
