Great week at the AIA Conference on Architecture & Design 2026! Spencer and Matt explored new products, attended sessions, and connected with design professionals from across the country.
A highlight was the Barrio Logan tour: experiencing Chicano Park, Logan Avenue’s arts corridor, and community-driven projects like La Esquina, WOO Studios, and Los Patios. As Spencer put it, it was “very, very cool” to get a granular look at how these projects are rooted in the local community.

Twenty years ago, our name officially changed from MayotteJacob to MAYOTTEgroup. While our name evolved, our commitment to thoughtful design, trusted relationships, and exceptional client service remained unchanged.
MAYOTTEgroup has continued to build on a legacy that began 68 years ago: growing, adapting, and serving communities throughout the region. The early logo sketches in the background are a reminder that even our identity was carefully explored, sketched, and intentionally refined.
