⚡️The Greater Goods Alliance⚡️ Six months ago I was accepted into a small business mentorship program led by the incredible Emily McDowell & Lisa Congdon, and last week we wrapped up our time with a beautiful retreat in Portland, Oregon. It was full of color + texture + light + everything good in the world 💛

Being an artist is often a solo adventure and being self-employed is often a guessing game - so the opportunity to get personal, real-time advice from Emily & Lisa alongside other dedicated creatives was a mind-blowing treat. My heart is full, my creative energy is restored, and I have so. many. ideas. to explore as I embrace the “open door” phase of life. Much love to this crew, forever and ever!

After almost ten years in business, it’s time for a refresh! I’m thrilled to announce that 37prime is now Emily Frushour. It’s a bit strange to let go of 37prime, but I’ve grown so much in the past few years and this change feels right as my business continues to evolve.

Whether you’re a new follower or you’ve been with me since day one, I’m incredibly grateful for the support that’s allowed me to create a career I love. My four year-old self would not believe that I made a job out of goofing around with paint (see last slide / pumpkin masterpiece) - but thank god I did because I can’t imagine doing anything else.

I could say a million other things but it would take too long because I’m a slow writer and refuse to get help from AI, so I’m just gonna say cheers to creativity & growth & art & community & love. 💛

Fishtown revamp + new piece! I worked with the amazing to reimagine my watercolors of the Fishtown dam and Joy tugboat, and added the Janice Sue tug to the collection. I’m thrilled to have this series available on Etsy now and at very soon!
