It’s been a busy and exciting couple of weeks for housing across Michigan!

LIHTC Allocations Manager Elizabeth Rademacher joined Lansing Housing Commission, Cinnaire, City of Lansing, Michigan - Government and other partners to celebrate the grand opening of Grand Vista Place and Riverview 220. These developments combined bring more than 100 new affordable homes to the City of Lansing, and MSHDA supported these projects through Low-Income Housing Tax Credits. MSHDA Legal and Rental Development staff also joined in on the exciting ribbon-cutting.

Legislative and Rental Development staff toured Oakland Commons, an Allen Edwin Homes development, with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Scott Turner and Rep. Bill Huizenga in the City of Portage, Michigan. When complete, Oakland Commons will bring 58 homes to the area, with a portion of the homes reserved as workforce housing.
