The 5th cohort of the Community Development Fellowship has officially wrapped and the report is in!

In partnership with CEDAM: The Community Economic Development Association of Michigan , MEDC proudly supported 10 Community Development Fellows as they worked alongside host communities across Michigan for 15 months. Their collective impact was nothing short of extraordinary:
⭐70 grant applications submitted, securing more than $6.4 million in funding for local projects
⭐Projects spanning the full breadth of community economic development — from housing and arts & culture to small business support
⭐100% of host communities reported increased capacity to manage projects because of their fellow
⭐4 of 10 fellows have already moved into full-time roles in the community economic development field

We are grateful for our continued partnership with CEDAM and proud of the transformational work made possible through this collaboration.
