The Granger 2026 Summer Internship Program is in full swing!

Our 36 interns came together in Lansing for a day centered on service, connection and hands-on learning.

The group started the day at Give-A-Kid Projects in Holt, volunteering their time to prepare backpacks, organize clothing and support site improvements for the organization's upcoming season. Back at our headquarters, interns listened to presentations from team members, learning more about the construction industry and strengthening relationships with one another. The day concluded with a tour of Michigan State University's Combined Heat and Power project, where the team got an up-close look at the progress being made and what it takes to bring a complex project to life.

Bruce “Trey” Turner joins the team as a Project Engineer, supporting our team in the K-12 market. Trey brings a strong foundation in architecture and design, along with experience supporting large-scale commercial projects through coordination with project teams and trade partners. His experience makes him a great asset to the team. ..
Justin Thompson joins our team as a Project Engineer, supporting projects in West Michigan. Justin brings a strong background in facility management along with leadership, safety and operational expertise. His attention to detail and commitment to high performing environments is an exciting addition to the team. ..
Jon Smith joins our operations team as a Mechanic based at our HQ Yard and Shop. Jon brings years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic, with a specialty in excavation equipment and field maintenance. His technical expertise and hands-on approach will help keep our equipment running safely and efficiently. ..
Jaime Taylor joins Granger Construction as a Superintendent, supporting the team in Lansing, Michigan. Jaime brings over 15 years of experience leading commercial and industrial construction projects. His strong field leadership, safety focus and ability to lead teams to successful outcomes make him a valuable addition to our team.
