Heads up! The Michigan History Museum will be closed from Saturday, May 23, through Monday, May 25, for Memorial Day weekend. We will resume normal hours on Tuesday. We hope everyone has a safe holiday weekend!

Today, on this Peace Officers Memorial Day, we honor the 17 Conservation Officers who lost their lives in the line of duty or as a result of an incident that occurred while they were patrolling. Conservation Officers are essential frontline employees who protect our state’s natural and cultural resources, as well as the health and safety of the public.
