Refugees meeting with US. Customs & Immigration Service are far less likely to be detained and deported if they arrive with legal representation. As we've seen in a recent real-life situation, even an Afghan ally with a Special Immigration Visa must shoulder the fees — which can add up to thousands of dollars — to protect his family.
