A winter wonderland 🤩❄️

More snowshoe adventures on our second and final day in 🇨🇭 We created our own route, combining a winter hiking trail out of town, and two official snowshoe loops, connecting them via small 🚡

Another perfect bluebird day to accomplish 11.5 miles in about 4.5 hrs and 4,000 ft gained 💪 Also had an après-snowshoe break for hot chocolate 😊 and I both felt more confident running in the snowshoes. It’s definitely different and next time I hope to go for a bit longer!

We ended our winter roadtrip with dinner in Lucerne. Now just the long all-day drive back to 🇬🇧

Broke up our driving day with a visit to Burg Eltz! Such a cool castle in the German countryside. What was meant to be a short jog to the gates turned into a longer loop through mud. A losing battle to keep Miles clean 😅 but he had a great time in his ancestral homeland 🥰
