Today’s visit included a complete system performance inspection and preventive maintenance. We adjusted the indoor blower speed to improve airflow and heat transfer while eliminating the air filter being pulled into the coil. The blower wheel and evaporator coil were clean, a return plenum air leak was sealed, and the condenser was completely dismantled and professionally cleaned to remove airflow restrictions. We also replaced the contactor as preventive maintenance.
After reassembly, the system was fully commissioned. Operating pressures and temperatures were verified within the manufacturer’s specifications, and the customer now has a cleaner, more efficient, and more reliable HVAC system.
