This month, we recognize the importance of listening, supporting, and making space for conversations about emotional well-being, especially among minority communities.

Fireworks may be part of the celebration, but for some people, the noise can be overwhelming.

This holiday, please be mindful of neighbors, seniors, veterans, hospice patients, and pets who may be sensitive to loud sounds.

A few simple ways to help:
Keep windows closed, lower blinds, turn on soft music or the TV, keep pets indoors, and check in on loved ones who may need extra comfort.

A little awareness can make the holiday safer and calmer for everyone.

Some people carry a lifetime of stories, service, and strength.

This Independence Day week, we are thinking of the veterans in our community and the families who have stood beside them. Their service deserves to be recognized with respect, care, and compassion at every stage of life.
