On behalf of the scouts and leadership of Troop 84, it was an absolute honor to serve District 34 during the 2026 Sectional Tournament!

A core principle of Scouting is to help other people at all times and give back to our community. When we heard District 34 needed a hand keeping those fast-paced elimination games running smoothly, our boys were more than ready to step up, hustle on the lines, and manage the tables.

We had a blast being a part of the incredible tournament energy under the Laredo lights! Huge congratulations to the District 34 Board, all the tournament officials, and the teams for putting on such a phenomenal, professional event.

On behalf of the District 34 Board, our leagues, and all of our visiting guests, we want to extend a massive thank you to the scouts and leadership of LAREDO Troop 84!

Our 2026 Sectional Tournament was a huge undertaking, and this incredible SCOUTS crew stepped up big time to support the community. From assisting the officials to tracking down and retrieving baseballs during intense elimination games, your hard work kept our tournament moving seamlessly.

⚾️ Scouts in Action: Troop 84 Stepping Up for District 34! ⚜️
When the community needs leadership and teamwork, Troop 84 answers the call!
Our scouts are out at the ballfields lending a massive hand to Little League International - District 34 during some of the most critical, high-stakes World Series elimination games of the season.
As seen in image.png, our scouts are right in the middle of the action on the diamond. They are putting the Scouting values of service and citizenship into practice by:

• 📋 Assisting the Main Official Table to help keep the tournament running smoothly and accurately.

• 🏃‍♂️ Handling baseball retrieval to keep the games moving fast and efficiently for the players, umpires, and fans.

A huge thank you to these young men for working hard under the Texas sun and showcasing true scout spirit on the field. We are incredibly proud of your dedication to supporting our local youth athlet

☀️ Just Another "Ordinary" Day at Troop 84! 🏊‍♂️

But wait… there’s no such thing as an ordinary meeting here!

Today, the scouts of Troop 84 hit the pool for a swimming party to celebrate… absolutely nothing at all! Just pure summer fun, great company, and cooling off from the Texas heat.

At Troop 84, we don't need a special occasion to have an absolute blast. Whether we are out in the wilderness, working on community service, or just making a splash at a pool party, every single meeting is an adventure.

Late post from Merit badge weekend:

Survival Mode: Accomplished! 🌲⛺

Let’s give a massive shoutout to one of our Scouts, Ramiro, for showing incredible grit, determination, and true Scout spirit!

Ramiro officially completed the final, grueling requirements to earn his Wilderness Survival Merit Badge.
One of the toughest hurdles of this badge requires the Scout to spend a full night camping inside a makeshift shelter Ram and Instructors built themselves from scratch. No modern tents, no cozy setups—just a tarp, some poles, and cord.

Being Ram fairly new to Scouting, we know it was a rough, tough, and challenging night out there in the elements. But Ramiro didn't back down. He put his training to the test, stayed the course, and successfully completed the entire requirement!

Ramiro, your Troop 84 family is incredibly proud of your resilience and bravery. You proved that with the right mindset and Scouting principles, you can survive and thrive through any challenge!

To all the dads, stepdads, grandpas, and father figures who help our scouts navigate the trails of life—thank you. Whether you are teaching them how to read a map, pack a pack, or stay strong in the face of a challenge, your guidance is the ultimate compass.

Our Father’s Day mission continued with a special stop to visit the Cigarroa Coaching and Athletic Staff! 🏈⚾️

Troop 84 dropped by to wish these incredible mentors and leaders a very Happy Father’s Day, presenting them with our custom Troop 84 "Dad's Favorite" snack bags to thank them for everything they do for our community's youth.

Our Scouts were visiting various spots all around town, looking for local Dads to surprise with a handshake, a treat, and a huge thank you for everything they do.

⚜️ Troop 84 in the Community: Celebrating Our Heroes! ⚜️

During our weekly meeting, the Scouts of Troop 84 were hard at work assembling custom snack bags filled with all of "Dad’s favorite snacks."

Starting TODAY, we took to the streets to hit our next mission: honoring the incredible parents and father figures in our community for Father’s Day!

🚒 First Stop: Our Local Firefighters
We kicked off our deliveries today by visiting our local fire station. The Scouts wanted to ensure these brave men received a well-deserved treat, a huge Happy Father’s Day, and a heartfelt thank you for their dedicated service to our community.

We are just getting started! Our Scouts will be out and about again continuing our deliveries and spreading Father's Day cheer.
