Little builders working together!

Last week our scouts learned about teamwork, leadership and our role in building up our community!

Scouts worked together to build a model city and learned about citizenship and its essential functions.

There was little taste of orange bell pepper and a whole lot of healthy fun … on a cold morning last Saturday!

Scouts demonstrated bravery … tasting some morsels from all the food groups!

Then they practiced some fitness moves indoors to achieve their Personal Fitness requirement. Thanks to the staff at the City of Laredo Haynes Recreation Center for their hospitality.

Our scouting family gathered in the church hall last Friday for our annual Posada. The children learned about the journey of Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem and enjoyed defeating the “seven deadly sins” on the traditional pinata.

Thanks to all who contributed to the delicious meal and to Felipe Suarez for leading us in song as we processed from door to door. Blessed Advent to all!
