LBOC officials staying active in the offseason🏀📈

Today, our President, Zabby Rincon, had the pleasure of meeting with young officials from Cigarroa and Nixon High School.

A great message was shared, and the students asked plenty of questions—not only about becoming an official, but also about real game situations and how officiating helps shape individuals through life lessons.

We’re excited and ready to work with this next generation of referees.

2026 LBOC Raffle

Congratulations to the Laredo Basketball Officials Chapter on earning its first UIL-assigned playoff game as a chapter!

This achievement marks a major milestone not only for the chapter, but especially for three outstanding officials — Raul Preciado, Zabby Rincon, and Gustavo De Leon — who are breaking ground and paving the way for many more playoff assignments to come.
