Role Details:

⏰ Timing: Approximately 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM CT *(exact schedule to be confirmed)*
📏 Performer Height: 5'2"–5'6"
🎭 Talent Needed: 1 Stunt Character Performer + 1 Character Handler

Please note: This is a local hire only opportunity. Applicants should live in or near the Chicago area.

We're looking for athletic, energetic performers who are comfortable in full-body character costumes and enjoy creating memorable guest experiences. Previous mascot, theme park, stunt, dance, or live entertainment experience is a plus.

We’re so excited to welcome Howard Sims to the Full Stop Productions team!

Howard brings more than 30 years of experience in live performance, stagecraft, technical production, and entertainment operations. With career highlights as the Technical Director at the world-famous Apollo Theater, where he oversaw more than 175 live productions each year, ensuring seamless ex*****on across one of the most iconic stages in the world and while at Feld Entertainment as a show support Technical Director, leading large-scale touring productions and long-term experiential themed installations—bringing technical precision and creative problem-solving to complex live entertainment environments. Howard brings in depth experience in venue leadership, entertainment management, and distinguished service in the U.S. Army.

A passionate mentor and advocate for arts education, Howard has guided countless inner-city students through the Apollo Theater Foundation’s education programs. He remains deeply committed to fostering inclusive spaces and expanding access to the performing arts.
Howard’s roots in entertainment run deep. His father, “Sandman Sims,” was a celebrated Apollo performer and vaudeville-era tap dancer known as a “Hoofer,” while his mother worked as a lead seamstress for the world-famous Radio City Rockettes. Growing up surrounded by artistry and craftsmanship, Howard developed an early and lasting connection to live performance and production.

Now, Howard brings his extraordinary depth of knowledge, leadership, and passion for live entertainment to Full Stop Productions, Inc. We’re thrilled to have him on the team as we continue creating imaginative, world-class experiences for audiences around the globe.
