Fat Cat Tavern Moves

The Fat Cat Tavern opened July of 2010. We were located in Tri-City Plaza at US 19 and East Bay Dr.. The space had been an Indian Restaurant so the walls were there and plumbing and electrical basics were there. We worked for six months to get open, fix, clean and paint. We opened just after the oil spill. Things we slow to say the least but we worked hard and got the business going. Then in 2013 the shopping center notified us they were going to tear down the shopping center and rebuild. We were not in their plans. We started to look for a new location. At East Bay and Belcher, in the Publix Shopping center was a space that had been Gun Slingers saloon. It had been closed for over 3 years. The space is big but the basic set up was there. We closed at the old location the second week of December 2014 and reopened in the new location January 7, 2015. Hardest 4 weeks of my life. On January 10th 2019 we will be celebrating 5 years at the new location. We will have a great party planned. Please join us. Bill Soleau, Owner, Fat Cat Tavern.
