After being in the hospital with horrible abdominal pain since Tuesday morning I'm finally home. With 2 more diagnosis, a med change and a new medication to add to the bunch. It seems what I thought could be my gallbladder and I've had a couple previous episodes of these same symptoms, it turns out that it wasn't the gallbladder, though I do have gallstones. More accurately, I have a bunch of ulcers causing my pain and gastritis to boot. But enough about my issues.
What I really wanted to say is thanks for these awesome Nesting Bench Tray sets. The colors are great and they each nest perfectly within each other. They're absolutely amazing and beautiful. I even got one of those "Pirates B***y" Deep Dish Storage Trays. I can't wait to start using them for organizing my Christmas orders 💎💍🏷️
Thank you all for your prayers and positive thoughts. The power was restored to my area yesterday and it's a real blessing. Many around me did nothing but complain and show heightened impatience, while some of us made the best out of a bad situation, showing support of each other. We were gathering outside on our porches, pulling together our resources and sharing our cooking skills and our food. But the best part of the whole Hurricane Milton ordeal is that the majority of the kids were outside playing with each other and neighbors were meeting neighbors.
While power outages can be a catalyst for human connection in the aftermath of the storm, it's our own responsibility to keep the movement flowing into a new state of mind and of being. As our streets are being cleared and our power is restored, let us not return to the old ways of constantly giving energy and attention to our devices and to isolation.
While Innovative technology is a good thing, we have lost sight of the importance of true human connection. Let's keep in mind that our housing, electricity, air conditioning, television, phones, Internet and video games are temporary conveniences invented by men for men. All these conveniences incur many financial commitments as well as emotional and psychological costs. True human connection costs nothing more than a sacrificial commitment of your time. In return we reap many real benefits to our emotional and psychological well-being. Having a relationship with God requires a personal commitment of surrender and you'll get a whole lot more than you expected in return. A relationship with God is the best relationship you will ever have, but the choice is yours. Do you want to have real peace and joy with God or continue to live in the chaos of war? What's your choice?
It's a very merry Christmas this year. Sometimes bigger isn't better, especially when you're an apartment dweller. I'll tell ya that last year I didn't really feel like celebrating because my spirit was low & I didn't have a tree. I did spend the holidays with family and that's honestly what I cherish most. This year though, I am celebrating because my spirit is overjoyed for the presence of God all around me!!!
God has done things in me & my family this year that I wasn't able to do on my own no matter how hard I tried to prove myself worthy to them. My eldest son and I are working together to heal our volatile relationship. My brother and I are traveling together and having an amazing time of it. I am feeling welcomed back into my granddaughters life & being invited to her school activities and holiday dinners. I can't wait to see what else He has up His sleeves for us in the coming year...
How has God blessed you this year? Share 1 thing you're thankful for today.

Back at Willy's Burgers & Booze for lunch with another July birthday boy, Tommy. Today I ordered the Pastrami Reuben & after eating half my sandwich, I'm stuffed. I love this place because you won't ever be disappointed with anything on Willy's menu, even the pricing is affordable when on a tight budget & the service is awesome! Thanks for always making my visits amazing!!!
