As the stylist and professional hair colorist, I want to help you communicate better with your own personal stylist. Highlights vs. Lowlights: Key Differences Explained ….Lowlights are a hair coloring technique that involves darkening specific strands or sections of hair using shades that are typically a few levels deeper than the base color. They add dimension, depth, and contrast, making hair appear thicker and more vibrant, often used to break up, blend, or enhance existing colors.

We are starting the process…it starts with making the decision to go natural… growing the roots out at least 2 inches.. then add highlights throughout leftover color… just enough to blend… last picking the right shade of tonal color to match the natural growth… apply all over.

Continue to apply tonal shade every 3-4 weeks as the journey continues…
