TES Summer Hours

Our 5th grade Gifted Education Destination Imagination state champion teams were honored at the LCPS Ceremony of Champions May 20th. The Unforgettables received 1st place in the Scientific Challenge as well as a Renaissance Award for additional creativity and technical ability in their presentation. The Lobsters received 1st place in the Engineering Challenge. We are extremely proud of our Comets and our Gifted teacher, Mrs. Nicah Johnson! ☄️ 💫

🌟 Thrive Thursday Spotlight 🌟

This week, we are proud to shine our Thrive Thursday spotlight on two incredible members of the Tombaugh Elementary School team: Registrar Yesenia Carrera and Head Secretary Olissa Hernandez Hill. At Tombaugh, Yesenia and Olissa are truly the heart of the school community. They are often the first smiles students, families, and staff see when they walk through the doors, greeting everyone with kindness, patience, and care.

While much of their work happens behind the scenes, their impact is felt throughout the entire campus. From keeping the school day running smoothly to supporting students in moments of need and helping families feel welcome and connected, Yesenia and Olissa go above and beyond every single day. Their dedication and commitment help create a school environment where everyone feels supported and where all learners can thrive.
