NMSU University Museum

Congratulations to our incredible Alejandra Maese-Mora for a successfully defended Master's thesis, "Death of Curiosity? From Cabinets of Curiosity to University Museums". This thesis (and its accompanying exhibit, located on the ground floor east gallery of the museum) challenges perceptions about museums and the artifacts within them. Alejandra has been an absolute force of nature in the museum for the last two years. She has worked on two grant projects and three of the four current exhibits. Beyond that, she knows exactly where everything is, and how everything works in the building. She is leaving big shoes to fill here, and we are anticipating big, wondrous things from her in the future! Well done, Ale!!! (please note: mummy is artificial)
