At the heart of mendbyme is founder Johanne Reed, whose passion for reducing waste and strengthening community access has turned donated goods into meaningful support for local families.

mendbyme maximizes the value of items already in our economy by recycling, reusing, and repurposing clothing and essentials. Through free pop-up shops, Johanne and her team give new life to donated goods and provide much-needed resources at no cost to those who need them most.

Her work reflects the credit union philosophy of people helping people, and we’re proud to recognize mendbyme as a 2025 ICU Day Award honoree. 💛

Operation At Ease Inc provides professionally trained service dogs to veterans and first responders at no cost, removing financial and bureaucratic barriers that often stand in the way of healing. The organization trains and pairs shelter dogs with clients to offer comfort, stability, and support long after service ends. 🐾💙

Founded by Joni Bonilla, a military spouse with over 20 years of dog training experience, Operation At Ease is powered by trainers who are part of the communities they serve — veterans, first responders, and spouses with firsthand understanding.
