PIPER, aptly named after being found in a pipe with a broken leg in the drainage lot next to the shelter, has begun his journey to recovery and healing. With gratitude to Williams of Operation Paw for lending us a drop trap and teaching us how to use it, and to our own Bob Fabian for sitting and trapping him over a 6 hour period. Piper has a badly mangled and broken leg, leaky eyes, double ear infection and much more, but we are simply grateful that this boy is becoming putty in our hands with love, because the glow-up will follow. Please help us continue this work. We can't save them all, but the ones we can help, their lives will be changed forever.
