I'm a Maryland based bassist & musician interested in music, media, and health science. That's in the past, how can I help NOW?

Just dropped a new bass lesson diving into one of the most legendary exercises in Motown history — James Jamerson's “Igor’s Chromatic Exercise” from *Standing in the Shadows of Motown* (link below)🎶🔥

This is a must-know for bassists. It’s all about building finger strength, control, and that deep groove Jamerson was known for. In this lesson, I break it down step-by-step so you can really lock it in and start applying it to your own playing.

I’m playing this on my Sire USA bass, and the tone and feel are just incredible for this style—super responsive & perfect for getting that warm, vintage-inspired sound.

Check it out, give it a try, and let me know how it feels in your hands!
If it helps your playing, I’d really appreciate a like, share, or comment 🙌

Incredibly grateful to Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School for the opportunity to play bass in their production of SIX 👑🥹

It was such a joy to be part of a show with so much energy, talent, & dedication. The cast brought the queens to life, the crew kept everything running seamlessly, the band was so kind and skilled & the entire experience reminded me why I love playing live theatre so much!!

Thank you again for trusting me with the low end and letting me be part of something so fun and memorable. Congratulations to everyone involved on an amazing production!

Shout-out to Sire USA, Trace Elliot, & gear I used for the production - sponsor me? 😁😁

If you saw the show, I’d love to hear your favorite moment!

Today in music we're celebrating the birthday of Ms. Rosa Parks! Best known for her social rights activism, and her refusal to surrender her seat on a bus in Montgomery, Alabama in 1955, she has had a tremendous impact on making the 20th century a better time in the United States.

Happy 113th birthday Rosa!❤️‍🔥

Playlist includes:
- Rosa Parks (Outkast)
- Say It Loud - I'm Black and I'm Proud (James Brown)
- Fight the Power (Public Enemy)
- Sister Rosa (The Neville Brothers)
- Rosa Sat (Amy Dixon-Kolar)
- The Ballad of Momma Rosa Parks (The Baytown Singers)
