Beyond Soccer

Our spring season ran so long, with so many teams reaching the playoffs, that we jumped straight into summer! But we couldn’t let the moment pass without celebrating our Gr. 4 Wolves.

You also couldn’t ask for a more dedicated Coach Mentor duo than Ashley, a former player, and Wolves mom Ana. These two are all-in for the girls, and it shows. Here they are with other female leaders they mentor along the way, Arabella, Isabella, and Jordyn, making this a true girls in sports team effort. 💪

And they go beyond the field, too. The Wolves wrapped their season with some of the best end-of-season events around, including a trip to the water park, and Ana and Ashley found ways to recognize every player for their individual growth and what they achieved together as a team.

Meet Angelito, an LHS graduate and former high school soccer player, now a current Northern Essex Community College student and one of the newest coach mentors on our team.

He joined us in Fall 2025, and it hasn’t taken long for our kids to look up to him. Born in the Dominican Republic, Angelito brings his love of the game to the field, connecting with our kids in both English and Spanish.

This summer brings a milestone we’re proud to be part of: his very first job, and it’s with us. You’ll catch him with our kids at our Soccer & Wellness Camp and at our Summer Nights program!

The best mentors often know exactly what it feels like to be out on that field. We’re lucky to have him. ⚽🧡💙
