Roundhouse Works

Hello, followers. I'm suspending my weekly postings of artist profiles and other art-related material. Though I enjoy it, I need to return to what I do as an artist, the making of birdhouses, partly in preparation for an upcoming fall art show and also because I have been creatively remiss pretty much since the beginning of the pandemic. There's a large pile of recycled material sitting in my workshop waiting for me to give it new life. I will be posting that work as it is completed. Whether I will return to posting the work of other artists, I'm not sure. In any case I have been honored to have so many appreciative followers. It is heartening to know that for so many the beauty of art is still important in the world.

The arches of the Rose Arbor in Longwood Gardens have featured the rambling, pink blooms of Rosa "American Pillar" since it was created over a century ago.
