The Prairie Dogs harvested their lavender and herbs and made bouquets today. What a lovely activity on such a beautiful day.

Our Bumblebee class is growing one of Daisy Hill Gardens tomato plants and it’s doing fantastic. Time to put it in its forever pot soon.

Hilltop’s Daisy Hill Garden is continuing the tradition of kids helping kids with our donation of all our extra plant sale vegetable plants to USD 497’s farm to school garden program. Plants started at Hilltop will be tended at schools all over Lawrence and greet the Jayhawks and Bobcats when they return to their schools in the fall.
