Utah Trailer Worx provides service and repairs to all makes and models of all trailers.
💥 This is only part of the bearing packing process…
A lot of people love watching fresh grease push through a bearing—and for good reason. It’s satisfying to see the old grease get forced out as new grease works its way through every roller.
In this video, we’re using our bearing packer to force fresh grease completely through the bearing. Once that’s done, we also apply a light coat of grease to the outside of the bearing before installation to help protect it during assembly.
This video only shows the packing process. A proper bearing service also includes inspecting the bearings and races for pitting, rust, heat damage, and excessive wear before everything goes back together.
Keeping your bearings properly serviced helps prevent expensive breakdowns and roadside failures.
📍 Need your trailer bearings serviced? Bring it by Utah Trailer Worx—we’ll make sure they’re packed, inspected, and ready for the road.
🚨 Think your trailer bearings are fine because “it tows okay”? Think again.
This bearing came out completely rusted and crusted over. Moisture got inside, the grease broke down, and corrosion took over.
A bearing in this condition is a breakdown waiting to happen. Left unchecked, it can overheat, destroy the hub and spindle, or even cause the wheel to come off.
The good news? A routine bearing inspection and service is much cheaper than replacing major trailer components—or being stranded on the side of the road.
Don’t wait until you hear grinding or feel excessive heat. Preventative maintenance saves time, money, and headaches.
📍 Bring your trailer to Utah Trailer Worx and let us make sure you’re road-ready.
Your RV may look road-ready, but if the wheel bearings haven’t been serviced, you’re taking a gamble every mile.
Today we performed a complete bearing pack on a 3,500 lb Jayco axle—cleaning, inspecting, and repacking the bearings with fresh grease while checking the seals and components for wear. Preventive maintenance like this helps avoid expensive roadside failures and keeps your adventures rolling safely.
Don’t wait until a bearing fails. Schedule your trailer maintenance before your next trip.
