It's Passover! Time to rediscover Yeshua! He is our Passover Lamb! Nowhere in the Bible does it talk about "Good Friday." Good Friday, the day most Christians celebrate Jesus' death on the Cross, is a term that came into being long after the time of Christ, in the 1300's. Satan has tried since the beginning of time to change times and seasons and separate us from our Hebrew origins. The Bible clearly describes Passover as the time of the Last Supper and the crucifixion.
Many people ask how can you make Good Friday to Resurrection Sunday out to be 3 days and 3 nights. The answer is, "you can't!" Yet people will continue to believe that Good Friday is the day Jesus died on the Cross. The Bible clearly outlines the qualifications of the Lamb that was to be slain on Passover in Exodus 12. You will see them in the left side of the chart. In the New Testament represented on the right side of the chart, we can see that Jesus fulfilled all of these qualifications and was sacrificed on Passover to fulfill this prophecy. Passover begins on Nisan 14, which would be Wednesday, at sunset. He was crucified at 3 pm on Thursday and put in the tomb by nightfall when it turned to Nisan 15. He would be in the tomb Thursday night, Friday night and Sat night which was then Nisan 17, when he rose early that next morning on Sunday. The Day is called Resurrection Day!
It's time for us to embrace Truth as spoken in the Bible and not the traditions of man. Good Friday is a manmade observance. Easter is the name of the Egyptian goddess Ishtar. Chocolate bunnies and eggs have nothing to do with Jesus, they are all part of pagan celebrations. It's time for us to grow up and embrace Truth. Just because it's "our tradition" doesn't make it right. Resurrection Day is the hinge of History, the day Jesus defeated the grave and rose again to give us New Life. It is the day He rose again to bring us back to God. He sacrificed it all so we could LIVE! Isn't it right for us to give up our celebrations of false gods and honor the King of Kings by calling it Resurrection Day and celebrating His sacrifice?
This is the time Father God is looking for mature sons and daughters to rule and reign with Him in His Kingdom. Maturity requires changing our mindsets and worldviews to align with God's thoughts. This matters to Him so it should matter to us. Don't raise your kids with bunnies and Easter baskets. Raise them with a pure focus on Jesus. Keep Him in the center! In Him, we live and move and have our being!
Happy Passover!

Hanukkah 2025
Day 3
HANUKKAH AND HAGGAI
On Dec 11, 2009, the Lord gave me this word from Haggai 2:18-19
“From the 24th day of the ninth month from the day that the foundation of the Lord’s temple was laid- consider it:
Is the seed still in the barn? As yet the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree have not yielded fruit. But from this day forward, I will bless you.”
This scripture refers to the exiles that had returned from Babylon and had begun building the house of the Lord 16 years prior, (read Ezra) but the enemies of God rose up to attack and intimidate them. They grew fearful and abandon the work of the Lord. They returned to their own houses and built them up instead, becoming busy with their own lives and eventually losing their zeal to rebuild the Lord’s house.
The Lord challenged their priorities. Even though they had all the resources they needed to build, they were more concerned about their own comfort. God was not happy with their lack of faith, so He sent the prophet Haggai to deliver several messages to this community. I encourage you to read this short two chapter story because it is so similar to the way God has been dealing with us and the nations of the world in these past several years.
Zerubbabel (governor of Judah), Joshua (the high priest) and all the people responded favorably to the Words of the Lord through Haggai and recommitted themselves to obey the words. So God sent another word to them to encourage them. He simply, yet powerfully, reminded them that He was with them. This was all the assurance they needed to know that they would be successful in rebuilding. The enemy would undoubtedly come against them, but they would succeed because God was with them. That is still true for us today.
When the Lord first showed this to me, it was the first day of Hanukkah 2009, the 24th day of the ninth month on the Hebrew calendar. We are in Kislev, the ninth month, and the 24th day was last Sunday, December 14 ,2025, also the first day of Hanukkah. From 2009 to 2025 is a 16-year period.
In that time, the church and the nations have gone through years of testing and trying. The Lord has been warning, calling, sending prophets and trying to get our attention, but we weren’t paying attention. In 2016, He brought the Trump administration to begin to uncover the amount of destruction, corruption and evil that had been going on in the nations but few wanted to take note of it, so He allowed a pandemic, and then a rigged election that yielded a fake president with a fake inauguration to bring disaster and disgrace upon America. Remember that the Lord is not about politics, He is about harvest and covenant. Then in 2024, God brought Trump came to the helm, announcing He was ready to act in a big way. He’s been waiting to renew his covenant with America, but He needed to wake up His sleeping bride so we could partner with him in the Harvest.
Much like the Jews in the book of Haggai, we, the people, were too concerned only with their own agendas that we didn’t notice the slavery that had almost ensnared us forever. The Lord had to wake us up to this brutal reality; we had been bamboozled. He forced us to look at what we didn’t want to see. He caused us to realize how much we depended on world systems instead of turning to Him. He made us uncomfortable so we’d have to make new decisions, new alignments and clean our houses. It’s been hard. But in His mercy and love, He has invited us again to build His house with Him. The Lord wants a clean house and He’s ready to build!
That is the theme of the book of Haggai - building His house and returning to holiness. He tells us to consider our ways, to repent and be holy! In other words, be completely set apart to Him so He can use us to establish His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. He is going to deal with the evil, but we need to get our priorities straight!
In Haggai’s Word, the Lord asks “isn’t the seed still in the barn?” In other words, haven’t I already provided for all your needs. The seeds of your harvest are there. Now get back to work, know that I’m with you and I promise to bless you! Your crops will grow, your barns will overflow, you will be fruitful in all you put your hand to. Your enemy will not overtake you.
As Hanukkah began this year, there has been another shift in our nation and the nations of the world. Things may look very chaotic, but God is resetting centuries of evil! Nations are rising up, people are being revived, there is a genuine cry for deliverance all across the world. God is reassuring us that He is bringing down the evil ones and establishing His justice. His reset is all for good, not for harm, to those who love Him. He has sent provision, the seeds have been there all along. Now He says clearly, From this day forward I will bless you! Wow!
He is blessing us with anointing oil, pouring out His Spirit in unprecedented ways. We are experiencing the Miracle of the Oil and it’s not going to stop flowing. The word is “From this day forward…..”
In vs 21-23, the Father tells the governor, the high priest and the people, “I’m going to shake the nations, overthrow their kingdoms and destroy their power. The swamp creatures are finished!
But as for you, I will make you like a signet ring because I have chosen you!
God has chosen us! The signet is a sign of the King’s authority, which has been conferred on us. We carry his authority, his anointing and His blessing. If we walk with Him, we walk in victory over our enemies. He will ensure that because He is with us – our Immanuel.
Take time to hear the Father’s encouragement. There is a lot of noise out there right now, but what the Lord has to say is the only thing that really matters.
Happy Hanukkah!
