Meet Our Students: Senior, Rebecca Triplett.

My favorite project I have done in a business class was the first dine and disco. The class started planning shortly after sophomore year started. We held in Donnelly gym and spent all day decorating the gym. While preparing the fundraiser we had many discussions on what the night should look like. We had lots of fun planning, decorating, and hosting it.

My favorite memory from FBLA was SLC 2019. Every year for state contest we go to Springfield for 3 days. While we were there, we listened to guest speakers. When we have finished in the evening, we have time to go to downtown Springfield. You get to hang out with friends and meet new people. I enjoyed going.

FBLA and the business class have taught me so much. If I had not joined, then I would still be a shy person and would be terrified if anyone talked to me. Since I joined, I have gotten more confident in my abilities to talk to people and to do presentations. I still get nervous, but I now know I can do it because I have been given the tools and practice to do so.

Meet Our Students: Emily Moe, Junior shares some of her favorite Memories.
Pic 1, Oath of Office: FBLA has taught me many things in high school. The biggest thing is how to better communicate with others and how to present in front of other people. I have learned what job I want to take and what I am more interested in because of it. February 9th, I was elected co- president of FBLA district 11, which is a big accomplishment. Each day, FBLA and the business class is pushing me towards my goals.

Pic 2, Serve Lebanon: FBLA gave me the opportunity to volunteer for Serve Lebanon. During Serve Lebanon, I helped first grade students. I read a book to them and did a worksheet with them as well. I gained a lot of experience while helping these children. I learned how to communicate better with younger children and how to be a good leader to children.

Jamboree Picture: I am an ambassador for the Lebanon Technology and Career Center’s Business Program. I have learned why it is important to take LTCC classes, it has made me more confident in a leadership position, and given me a better understanding of my class and the importance of it.
