Warren County Ohio CERT is a FEMA recognized Emergency Response Organization.

We serve under the jurisdiction of the Warren County Emergency Management Agency.

We are a 100% volunteer organization trained for emergency response and ready to train others.

Our training, established by FEMA, includes: emergency management practices, small fire suppression, mass casualty triage, life sustaining first aid, light search and rescue, damage assessment, etc.

As Major emergencies seem to be increasing, we need to increase the number of Trained Responders.

You, as a prepared responder in the community, can reduce the number of victims and bring aid faster to others.

Online training and hands-on classes attendees will learn how to assist their family, neighbors and community after a major disaster, when professional responders are often not immediately available.

Students will learn basic disaster response skills including:

•Disaster Medical Operations/First Aid
•Hazard and Situational Awareness
•Light Search and Rescue
•Small Fire Suppression
•Disaster Psychology
•Terrorism and CERT

Classes are a combination of practical learning and actual application such as suppressing fires, treating injuries, carrying the wounded, etc. Learners will apply these skills in a final mock disaster drill.
