⏰Tagging for feeder calves is Saturday, June 6th from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on the south end of Building E (Cattle Barn). Enter the fairgrounds through the main gate and drive between the cattle and pig barn to get into line. All feeder calves must be tagged on Saturday, June 6th to be eligible for the fair.

📢Feeder Calf tagging reminders for tomorrow from the fair book:

Exhibitors will be charged a per head fee at tagging day to vaccinate your feeder calf. Vaccinations will be done by a licensed veterinarian. Vaccinations are required for all feeder calves to be eligible to show & sell at the fair. The cost will be $10 per head. Bring CASH. Exact amount preferred. If your veterinarian already vaccinated your calves, paperwork from your veterinarian must be brought to tagging with the feeder calves clearly identified.
Exhibitors will be charged $5 for their EID ear tag which is mandatory for beef cattle exhibited at the fair. Bring CASH. Exact amount preferred. If they already have an EID button from the breeder, then a non-EID numbered fair tag will be used instead.
For initial tagging in June, feeder calves must be castrated, hornless (no horn/scur above the surface of the hide), halter broke and able to be led on tagging day or they will not be tagged and thus are ineligible for the fair.
