I wanted to share another post about continuing to switch to nontoxic and healthier options with our food and products we put in and on our bodies. Our goal is to provide education to help every family become healthier. EVERY decision we make is a health decision. The food we eat impacts our gut microbiome which impacts our hormones and our immune system. The products we put on our bodies impact our hormones and inflammation. It all matters. Here are some of our top summer swaps we love and utilize for our own family!
Your menstrual cycle and your fertility is a reflection of your overall health. The quality of both egg and s***m are directly influenced by the choices you make every single day. Nutrient dense foods provide the protein, healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals your body needs to support healthy hormone production and conception.

How to support you and your kids bodies while swimming this summer☀️
Chlorine is a chemical and exposure to this while swimming along with its byproducts can affect our skin, lungs, hair, and nervous system.
-Use Vitamin C spray before and after swimming to neutralize chlorine. I also use vitamin c powder in their baths post chlorine exposure. Both of my fav vitamin c swim products are from
-Using a barrier like coconut oil can help create a protective layer against the skin
-Rinsing before can reduce chlorine absorption and rinsing immediately after also helps minimize exposure time
-Eating foods to support your bodies natural detox system like berries, citrus fruits, leafy greens, and herbs
-Homeopathy can be a great natural tool to help support the body after chlorine exposure! Remember homeopathy remedies stimulate the body’s natural self healing response. Reply “swim” for the best homeopathic remedy for pools.
Last but not least: don’t fear the pool! Fear and anxiety is worse than exposure. Have fun with your family this summer and try to choose a salt water pool over chlorine pool when possible, & if it’s not possible you now have the knowledge to support you and your kids bodies when having fun in pools.

Trying to switch your products to nontoxic ones with better ingredients can feel very daunting and it’s hard to know where to start. I educate my patients on how their environment and the products they put on their skin affect their hormones, their entire endocrine system, and their overall health. Everyone has a toxin bucket….. and little repeated exposures every day fill that bucket, once it starts overflowing is when you start seeing signs of dysregulation and dysfunction in your health.

There can be a lot of supplements out there that you feel like you need to take when you’re trying to conceive. Or I hear a lot that patients don’t start taking anything until they’re already pregnant. It’s important for your body to already be in an optimal state when you get pregnant. It is recommended to start preparing your body at least 3 to 6 months in advance if not a year in advance of wanting to conceive!!!! Here are my non-negotiables. I listed a few more but the top 3 are a high quality prenatal, vitamin d, and high quality fish oil. Brands definitely matter for the quality and getting the optimal amount to be able to support a healthy pregnancy. This is one of my favorite things to help clients with. Everyone that wants to become a mother and bring life into this world should get that opportunity🤎There are so many environmental toxins and exposures that are increasing our rates of fertility 1% every year.
