March has been Women's History Month.
The 2022 Women's History theme, "Providing Healing, Promoting Hope," is both a tribute to the ongoing work of caregivers and frontline workers during this ongoing pandemic and also a recognition of the thousands of ways that women of all cultures have provided both healing and hope throughout history.

At 9:24 AM Central Time, the sun will shine directly on the equator and for us in the Northern Hemisphere, it marks the beginning of spring.

The Godfather premiered at the Loew's State Theatre in NYC on this day 50 years ago. It was based on the book by Mario Puzo, directed by Francis Ford Coppola (pictured,) and starring Marlon Brando and Al Pacino. It went on to win the Oscar for Best Picture. Today it is regarded as one of the best films ever made.

Daylight savings begins tonight, so turn your clocks forward one hour when you go to bed tonight. Ironically, it is also Sleep Awareness Week. So while you will be losing an hour of sleep, make it a good night's sleep by avoiding late-night eating or drinking, and stay away from the glare of your tv, computer, or smartphone, before hitting the sack.
