Hey y’all! I just wanted to say thank you so much for joining me in this fun baking journey! So many new followers, and I’m thrilled to have y’all here!! Thank you so much for your support!! I’ve been so blessed by y’all! 💖💖💖

I want to introduce myself to those who recently started following Sunshine Bake Shoppes, as well as apologize though for my quietness on here lately and give y’all an update! Sooooo… let’s go!!

Hi! I’m Laurie, I love Jesus and I love sharing the joy He gives me with those around me each day!! ☀️ I’ve been married to my hubby Andy for 15 years. I’ve been a stay-at-home wife and mama for 13 years! I’ve always loved baking for others and seeing the joy on their faces as they see and taste the deliciousness that God has allowed me to create! In 2023, we branched out and began baking as Sunshine Bake Shoppes, in hopes to share a little more joy and sunshine with y’all! ☀️💖🧁

As a little girl, my dream was to be a mama! I always saw myself as the mom who would have fresh baked treats for my kids and their friends, as they made memories together. Y’all, I’m definitely living that little girl’s God-sized dream!! How amazing is that?! I am a blessed mama to three amazing children! 🙌🏼 🙌🏼 🙌🏼

These last several months as I prayed over many things including my family and my business, I continue to feel God reminding me to be still and enjoy these busy years with my children. I’ve still continued to bake, but reminding myself that my family is who I need to serve this season. With that, I’ve felt led to step back slightly from the bake shoppe and focus on my family and leaning in to what God has for us.

I wanted to let y’all know, I’m still here! My baking may just look a little different for a season. Right now, God is calling me to teach my children how to let their light shine for Him too! So I’m going to focus on spreading Sunshine WITH my family - to their teachers, their friends, their teams and clubs, and our community together!
