*June 2025, RKV volleyball mini-camps 1&2 at TM Fieldhouse, great group of kids, thanks Leinani Stout, niece, for helping !

*July 2025, 2nd year RKV invited back to run VB camp for, The Daniel Academy (TDA), founded in 2007, a private christian school in KCMO, Preschool-12.

Camp theme - "Faith Over Fear," TDA vision . . . "to raise up students who want to go into the world and bring the Lord’s heart and ways to all arenas, just as Daniel in the Bible did."

Loved working with these gifted, inspired, and dedicated students and coaches under the leadership of Head Coach Rayna Freitas.

At end of camp, a young boy and girl prayed over me, a blessed moment, and a solemn reminder of why I train.

Final farewell to the 2024 MCC Lady Wolves volleyball team . . .

26-10 record, 3-time repeat Regional Champions this year first time ever, 5 players All-Region teams . . .

Thank you for taking care of each other, for working together, for listening, for asking lots of questions, for hitting the books and learning what it truly means to be a student athlete, for sweating and working hard to achieve a common goal, for believing in each other and fighting back in the 5th set to win, for carpooling and driving safe to our events, for choosing places to eat on the bus when nobody could agree where, to figure out how to convert a bus seat into a bunk bed, for showing respect, love, and unity when a player or coach encountered the passing of a loved one or was facing a difficult situation, for singing happy birthday to your teammates, and finally, thank you for becoming a wolf, to run with the pack, to make lifelong friends, create awesome memories, and represent MCC to the highest degree possible . . ."

If you don’t sacrifice for what you want, “what you want” becomes your sacrifice.

If you can wake up at 7am to build someone else’s vision, you can wakeup at 5am to build your own.”
