The annual Pollinator Festival includes hands-on activities, educational exhibits, native plant giveaways, and outdoor entertainment including lawn games, face painting, and more. Join Alicia Cohen, Gertrude Evans, and members of the Black History Committee of the Friends of Thomas Balch Library, as they examine perspectives, struggles, and triumphs faced by Black Americans, including several from Loudoun County, in their dual battles for liberty and equality. They will highlight the significant contributions of Crispus Attucks, Elizabeth Freeman, James Armistead Lafayette, and other Black Americans. This program will be held on two days:

Positions to represent the Broad Run District on the Loudoun County Transit Advisory Board (TAB) and the Library Board of Trustees (LBOT) have become available.

Members of TAB advise the Board of Supervisors and county staff on items relating to Loudoun's transit services (Loudoun.gov/Transit), such as route courses, stop locations, bus types, and service frequency.
