We love seeing our local business partners grow their business. With growth comes more job opportunities and for that we are thankful.

Junior Work-Based Learning student, Grant Trussell works in Cordele, GA for Blackshear Services. This great new business partner offers a variety of services from remodeling projects to dog training services. Grant wants to pursue his college educational goals of business and entrepreneurship at the University of Georgia. Grant is a hard worker and will take on any task asked of him with enthusiasm and attentiveness.

Work-Based Learning is a high school program for juniors and seniors to earn high school credit while employed in a variety of job placements. These students receive real-world, hands-on opportunities to learn and demonstrate employability skills in the workplace. We are very thankful to our local communities for supporting our students and allowing us the opportunity to assist in building a highly trained workforce.
