TIME IS RUNNING OUT! There are a few seats still available for the November, 2023 session of Volunteer Leadership Virginia's inaugural leadership development program. We welcome applications from administrative and operational volunteers from any Virginia jurisdiction and select jurisdictions outside the Commonwealth, including Maryland, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.

Lectures and scenario-based training challenge students through the theory and practice of key skills volunteers leaders need to be successful in the station, on calls, and in the community.

Visit the program website at http://VLPVirginia.org to review an in-depth program description, eligibility requirements, and application instructions.

The program is free for volunteers from Fairfax County Departments. All other students will enjoy a subsidized tuition of only $500, which includes meals, lodging, and training.
