Amazing Prophecies

When it comes to opening the door of Heaven to see inside the throne room of God, there is only One who is worthy! This Bible prophecy gives us a view into the courts of heaven and the activity that is taking place there. A message on the open door of Revelation 4.

4:1 Chapters 4 and 5 are an introductory scene to the vision of the seven seals.

The door mentioned here as being opened in heaven was to the heavenly sanctuary, the throne room of heaven! Isaiah 6:1-5; Ezekiel 1; Acts 7:56.

4:2-4 The special focus of the book of Revelation is Jesus’ work as our High Priest and the events that occur during and after the completion of His ministry. When the work is finished, He will put on His kingly garments and return to Earth to claim His people.

The “rainbow” around the throne shows the beauty to be found in holiness; it brings to mind Noah, and the promise God made not to again destroy the earth with a flood. The “rainbow” is God’s pledge that He will honor His promises.

The “four and twenty elders” are engaged in worshiping God and assisting in the heavenly sanctuary services. Revelation 5:5, 8-11.

4:5 The Holy Spirit is represented by the “seven lamps” burning in the heavenly sanctuary. The Holy Spirit brings light into the lives of God’s people and illuminates the way to salvation.

4:6-8 The “beasts” or living creatures in this scene are similar to the angel cherubim in Ezekiel’s vision. The shapes of the living creatures were probably symbolic. (In this same vision Jesus was represented as both a lion and a lamb, symbolizing His power and His gentleness.) The human face symbolizes humanity; the lion’s face, strength; the ox’s willingness to serve; and the eagle’s swiftness and perceptiveness.

4:9-11 God is worthy of praise and honor because He “created all things.” Satan has attacked God’s status as Creator with the lie of evolution, and he has prompted men to discard the fourth commandment that identifies God as the Creator. “For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth.” Exodus 20:9-11. Hi FB Fam! As I write this I am experiencing the most difficult period of my life. As some of you know my mother, Carol Brooks, passed in April after experiencing a severe stroke. I lost my best and most sympathetic friend. I have grieved daily since, and recovery will be a life long process. I miss her more than I could ever say.

I drove 3 hours daily to visit her in the hospital and hospice. I then drove from Florida up to Alabama for her funeral and back to Florida. It was the least I could do for someone who did so much for me. I packed her belongings to bring them to Alabama in a rented Uhaul truck and also paid some people to help me load and unload the truck. I then took a plane back to Florida to get her car which I drove to Alabama. All this exhausted my finances. I was also experiencing severe sciatica nerve pain in my left leg and pain in my right knee that I injured in the military.

I was provided with a temporary room to stay while I looked for work and more permanent lodging. This ended and I found myself homeless for 2 weeks. I lived in my car and slept at two homeless shelters here in Huntsville, AL. (The Downtown Rescue Mission and the Salvation Army) Through the kindness of one of my mother's friends and her daughter I obtained a room for rent. They even paid the first month's rent of $200 which I didn't have. Unfortunately the room was hot as it was on the second floor and we were experiencing high temps in the 90's in July/August. It also did not have a wall or door, so when the opportunity came to move into a cooler room in the same house with door and wall I took it. It was $400 a month, but I was working daily and believed I could handle it.

But unfortunately I tripped, stumbled and twisted my right knee badly and fell hard about 2 weeks ago. Since then I have been experiencing pain and soreness and walk with a limp and struggle to go up and down stairs. I hoped my knee would be better by now, but it hasn't improved even with treatment and herbal supplements. I am almost 60 and my body doesn't heal as quickly as when I was younger. I've had to miss a few days work to rest my knee and have fallen behind on my bills, even though I've pared them down to only what I need to live and function. (Rent, car note, car insurance, phone, gas & food) I am in dire straits financially.

Obtaining a job sitting down has also been difficult, because I was born with a nerve condition that causes my fingers to tremble and shake continually, so that I struggle to type and I type slowly. The struggle is real! Because of my physical disabilities it is difficult for me to earn enough income to cover my bills and I need help and assistance. I applied for disability and was rejected. I am in process of seeing if I can get a disabled vet benefit. I am possibly going to be homeless again in a few days.
