Feel free to bring your spouse or a friend to share the festivities. The club will provide turkey and ham and paper products.

There is a "Big Band" concert at noon in the library. I understand the members are retired professionals and they put on a great concert. It is free, so plan to stay.

Looking forward to seeing everyone to conclude 2024 and enter 2025 with renewed enthusiasm.

Workshop this Thursday, May 25th “Fun Close-ups"
Bring your camera and/or cell phone with you for a photo workshop presented by Steve Linton. He will have a short presentation, then the fun begins with many “small people plus” for you to set the stage for your shots.
This will be the perfect time to try out different lenses to see what the different results are between a macro lens all the way up to a telefoto lens. We have talked about what the different lenses can do, now is the time to see how lenses affect the overall pictures. It will also show how good the cell phone shots are.

Jim's bio:
Graduate of the New York Institute of Photography
Founder and Past President of the Oxford Greens Camera Club in Connecticut.
Current teacher at the Villages Enrichment Academy in two courses: Intermediate Digital Photography and Photo Editing Using Lightroom Classic.
Photo Wildlife Tour Guide, Family Portrait Photographer and Personal Editing Tutor.
He has taken extensive courses in judging using various criteria that include the NECCC New England Camera Club Council and FCCC (Florida Camera Club Council) criteria.
We can all profit from his knowledge. See you then!
