We are sad to announce Vickey Bowman peacefully passed away Thursday at home with her daughter, Devin by her side. Vickey has been riding and training horses her whole life starting with her childhood horse, Prince pictured below. Vickey was a horsewoman through and through and an accomplished trainer, but more importantly she touched the lives of many. She always was willing to help anyone with anything they needed. She will be missed greatly by family, friends, and the Arabian Horse community.

The service will take place on Saturday, September 4th at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary (3115 E. 7800 S Cotton Wood Heights, Utah) visiting hour at noon-1 pm, funeral service at 1 pm and 2 pm graveside. In lieu of flowers please send donations so the Horsemens Distress Fund in her honor.

Vickey is sad she can’t make it to Midsummer this year but will be watching the live stream! I’m sure everyone has PLENTY of great stories and memories with Vickey. She would love if you sent some pictures and stories of favorite horse show moments, special horses and fun times with her.
