❓Questions to dive deeper into your relationship with Christ:

1. What stood out to you most from Acts 14:8–22, and why? Was there a verse, statement, or example from Paul’s life that challenged or encouraged you?
2. The people of Lystra first tried to worship Paul and then later tried to kill him. Why do you think people’s opinions can change so quickly? How can we guard against living for the approval of others instead of the approval of God?
3. Paul changed where he started when sharing the gospel, but he never changed the gospel itself. Who has God placed in your life that may need a different starting point for a spiritual conversation? What might that look like?
4. Paul got up after being stoned and returned to ministry because people mattered more than his comfort. Where is God calling you to choose faithfulness over comfort right now? Is there a difficult conversation, an act of obedience, or an opportunity to serve that you’ve been avoiding?
5. Paul told the new believers, “Through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.” How does this truth change the way we view suffering and hardship as followers of Jesus? What is one practical way you can remain faithful this week, even if it costs you something?
