04 GMC Envoy four-wheel drive came into the shop leaking trans fluid. Put the vehicle on the lift, to pinpoint the location of the leak. Removed lower bell housing inspection plug. Then went in between the pump housing and the torque converter with a borescope inspection camera. To verify it was actually leaking from the torque converter seal and not the pump housing o-ring. It ended up being the bad torque converter seal. Pulled the trans and transfer case. Replaced torque converter seal. Reinstalled transmission and transfer case. topped off the ATF , ran the vehicle to verify a good fix .

So this is what happens when you managed to drive over a concrete parking stop. Then realize you're not going anywhere. Then to try to remedy the situation. You put it in reverse and floor it. The remedy was not quite the outcome intended. But as you can see broken parts we replaced LOL.
