Evening FB. – Apologies for my, more than occasional, posting - and then going off somewhere to work on something… - And I hope things are well as they can be for ye, and we all.

Looking forward to doing an Acoustic show ; Tomorrow: Wednesday the 6th. - Woodridge Shanahan's, 7pm first set; With Lenny Richier on drums; We’ll play some notes, sing some songs, a few adventures, and a few that haven’t been done for a while. – ..

And we may Well be joined by Rob, Matt, Jake and hopefully Doctor Dave and possibly others… early on and later on… - Will try to stream it..

Hi Fb – (2 page sermon) (The soundtrack is eight minutes from the Aragon, 1978): - “Just when we thought things couldn’t get any more bizarre..:”
About a month ago I started writing to try to help US focus on some things we all share; including similar but different elements of insanity. (I claim no human can be sane 24/7: – There’s just too much stress / emotional, psychological, financial and ‘biological pressure’ on Earth-based humans now. (I think that pressure has been building for a long time...)

“There is not now, nor has there likely ever been a person or any group of people that were always right and never wrong. “

So, before delving into the titillating battle between what I see as two uniquely brilliant, wealthy and spectacularly-insane salesmen; I think it might help to examine how any of us living in their shoes might also go completely crazy..:

From a month or so ago..:

Ok; IMO, “Our Growth-only Economic Concept, aka ‘The Economy’, is driving the destruction of many of the things biological humans need now, and will need in the future. {And like PacMan in a closed box, The Economy is destroying itself, and its people. – The working parts of the ‘machinery’..}

And by design, or no design at all,

“We appear to Reward Greed above all else.”

So, think about this:
Many, if not most of us, have some level of addiction to alcohol, sugar or other ‘drugs’, legal or not. And when our addictions get the best of us, we can cause damage to our own lives or the ones we touch.

Those of us addicted to acquisition, money and ‘power’, can cause damage on a much larger scale than us regularly-flawed folks…

But, imagine a person like you or me; if our deep insecurities drove us to seek dramatic psychological and emotional attention; and daily validation.

Now, imagine we woke up every morning with the power to say or do something that can force whole countries to pay attention to us…
Add to that, the power to go after any of our critics without any real consequence to ourselves…
Then like a chain reaction gone out of control; almost every single one of us would go completely crazy.

- Because our insecurities were being enabled and rewarded in a feedback loop…

And just like any other addiction, enough would never be enough.

Now, it may just be the twists of fate, chance, or ‘providence’, that determine which of us are born into that space and timeline, {supported from behind the curtains}, to wreak our explosions unto the world.

If it was you or I, or anyone for that matter; it would be better for everyone’s sake, IMO, to maintain the counsel of at least a few honest and forthright friends. - To let us know when we should slow down before we lose our minds, and drag the country with us, into the abyss of delusional paranoid narcissism. – Or something like that…”

So anyway,
After we spend time laughing or yelling or crying, cringing and expleting or euphemizing about the two salesmen who require our daily attention. – After that, I hope we, the people, can start having real honest conversations again, for the first time in more than a decade.

Epilogue:
We didn’t arrive at this place overnight, IMO. - The corruption of the 2 parties, the absurd levels of division, and the conscious or unconscious sell off of American ideals for profit has been increasing since before Eisenhower’s speech in 1961… And it isn’t just the military industrial complex (though that’s huge). - It’s now at every entry point in this so-called Economy. Because we have no long-term goals as a people or a country; and the growth-only model has the acquisition and power addicts buying up every industry and ultimately every mom-and-pop shop, just because they can. (IMO)

And there doesn’t appear to be anything functional in the Constitution or the tax code that limits the destructive extraction their addictions are causing. – Be nice to fix that, for everyone’s sake. – Including the wealthy.

-There must some amount that is “enough” to still enjoy enormous wealth, but above a destructive level, (where certainly the money they’re making is not connected to any actual ‘work’ they’re doing, or any value added to the country) Those excesses could go back into the commonwealth so we could regenerate what life requires, and maybe stop increasing the debt..?

Regardless, for me, this is not about blame. – It’s just an examination of a chronic illness producing a situation. - “Where we are is nobody’s fault in particular; and it’s everybody’s fault. It’s nobody’s responsibility and Everybody’s…”

Truce to the billionaires and / or the puppeteers; whoever you are.

If we partnered together, we could assess our common human realities, and realign our Economic machinery with Nature. And we could pursue the sanity clause and whatever non-delusional long-term goals we could agree upon. Or something like that…
