🩷"Liz, why did you start making body butter?"🩷

During my first pregnancy I genuinely tried to keep my belly moisturized but I was living in San Diego and body butter was wayyy out of price range, about $30 for 4oz. considering I needed it everyday, we would just buy it when we could.

In the final month of pregnancy, stretch marks were all along my belly due to a little bit of neglect and moisturizers genuinely being way too expensive.

We continued to buy body butter when we could and after about a year my stretch marks were no longer noticeable.

Tax time was rolling around in 2022 and Chris and I were talking about ways to save money, and I thought "ouuu we should make body butter" It would save us so much money. I brought the idea to my husband and of course he was 100% on board.

After many months of making body butter, the idea of launching it as a super small business played in my head often. I wanted to help other people who ran into the same problem I did; needing body butter, but it just simply being too expensive for such a little amount.

So I ran this idea by Chris and he was extremely supportive, so we started selling locally. I started researching everything I could about business and trying different body butter recipes throughout rial and error(I feel like my research is never ending) Ive been making and selling body butters for a little over two years now and I feel like I'm always learning something new.

During my second pregnancy I consistently used my body butter and by the time I gave birth I only had one stretch mark.

My goal was for people to have beautiful skin and feel confident without having to spend a fortune. Spending less but getting more was my biggest goal for people, and I've accomplished that. One of my favorite things about the body butter I make is that it's not only made with the highest quality organic oils, but a little goes a LONG way.
