First Due 2

On the morning of Sunday, April 12, 2026, Engine 2 hosted a joint training between the North Zone of the Wantagh Fire Department (E2, E4, E7, L2) and Bethpage Fire Department Engine 5 (905) and Ladder 3 (903) at the WFD Training Center (Station 6).

Units performed two evolutions simulating a working fire in a three story private dwelling with possible victims trapped, performing a reverse lay operation and limiting access to the structure causing rig positioning to be tedious.

Members did a phenomenal job and worked seamlessly together, stretching two handlines and conducting searches quickly and efficiently.

We hope to train together again in the near future.
