A couple of days ago the sweetest little customer came to Tidepool Toys in Bethany very sad because he had lost his Dino that he had bought at the toy store earlier that day. Unfortunately, it was swept away into the ocean.

Our employee, Cookie, was working in the store when the little boy and his family came in looking for the same Dino to replace the one that was lost. She could tell how important it was to him and was determined to track one down. With help from Betsy at our Fenwick store and Joan and Coleen at our Kids’ Ketch location in Lewes, they were able to find the exact Dino! Our delivery driver, Dave, was able to get it to Bethany that same night so the little boy could have it in the morning to enjoy.

Yesterday, as a thank you to Miss Cookie, the little boy came in to bring her these beautiful roses as a thank you gift. He surely knew how to put a smile on her face!

It took a team effort to replace this special toy, but was so rewarding for our team of toy store professionals. As owners of Tidepool Toys and Kids’ Ketch, we are grateful to have such thoughtful and dedicated people working for us who truly care about our customers!
