Coach Jeremy Brown has spent over two decades immersed in the sport of volleyball, building a coaching identity rooted in grassroots development, deep competitive experience, and an unshakeable love for the game.

Brown's volleyball education began at the highest level. He was brought in as a practice player under Shelton Collier, AVCA Hall of Fame coach, 21-year head coach at Wingate University, and former assistant coach of the U.S. Women's National Team, training daily against Collier's collegiate athletes to sharpen their competitive edge. That early exposure to elite coaching instilled in Brown a standard of excellence he carries into every gym he enters.

In 2009-2010, Brown completed an internship at Carolina Courts in Charlotte, NC, where he launched a grassroots volleyball program aimed at growing the sport in Mecklenburg County. That program became the foundation of a career defined by community building. One that has touched local school programs, club teams, and adult leagues throughout the Charlotte area. He became a fixture in the local volleyball scene, earning the respect of fellow coaches not just for his knowledge of the game, but for his ability to still compete at a high level.

Now 39 years old and playing in every competitive league he can find, Coach Brown brings more than 20 years of on-court experience to his teaching. His coaching spans the full spectrum: youth of all skill levels, advanced players, skills clinics, private lessons, adult leagues, and mentoring new coaches.

His connection to The Factory Sports in Lewes, Delaware began the way the best coaching stories often do, through his own child. When his son Quinn developed a passion for volleyball, Brown jumped in as a parent volunteer and never looked back. He now plays a central role in building The Factory's volleyball program from the ground up, with recreational leagues set to launch in Fall 2026.

Outside the gym, Coach Brown is a proud husband and father. He and his wife Shanice are raising two sons, Quinn, 10, and Miles, 5. With a young family and a growing program, his investment in youth volleyball has never been more personal.

He continues to pursue the same mission that has defined his entire career: grow the game, one player at a time.
